The current state of the field.
ORR’s main field has not seen an upgrade in many years. The filed does not drain well, is compacted and has bare patches. while the staff do an incredible job with the tools they have, the only way to keep the field in decent shape is to limit the amount of use it gets and to avoid usage when it is raining.
Our vision for the future
Improving the playing surface will allow more time in use for the field for both ORR teams and for community teams. In addition, the softer surface will limit potential head injuries, improve the quality of play, and allow our teams to compete at the highest level.
